The other day, while we were doing some clay, I asked the childrem to smell it... 

smells like what? I asked. 

Someone said earth, and I replied exactly, it is from where clay comes! 
Suddenly all the children were amazed, WHAT?? They said.

How come, we be so far away from nature, from the origin of the things we use?

I definetly have to show them the process of extracting clay from earth! 
That will be my goal for next year's visits.

No outro dia, enquanto estávamos a trabalhar com barro, pedi às crianças para o cheirarem... cheira a quê? Perguntei.

 Alguém disse, terra, e eu respondi, exacto, é de onde o barro vem! 

De repente o espanto foi geral. O QUÊ?? Disseram.

Como podemos estar tão longe da natureza, 

da origem das coisas que usamos no dia-a-dia?

Tenho de lhes ir mostrar o processo de extracção do barro a partir da terra! 
Esse é um dos meus objectivos para as visitas do próximo ano lectivo.
